Lake Michigan and Lake Superior are two Great Lakes that border Wisconsin in the midwestern U.S. The state is also home to forests and farms, and dairy farming is the state’s most famous industry. There are numerous cultural activities and events in the state, fishing and boating, and some excellent hiking and biking trails. Several water parks are available in the Wisconsin Dells, one of the world’s largest. Over 200 water slides and 16 million gallons of water are combined between eight indoor and three outdoor water parks. In Water Parks, Noah’s Ark is the largest in the United States The state is known as “America’s Dairyland.” Wisconsin produces more cheese than any other state in the United States (and more dairy products than any other state). Wisconsin’s cows produce 90% of its milk for making cheese. Each square mile, there are more dairy cattle in the state than anywhere else in the nation. Additionally, Wisconsin offers the only Master Cheesemaker program in the country. For application purposes, you must have ten years’ cheese-making experience. The program lasts for three years.
